Ivan
Radman was born on May 25th, 1974, in Zadar on the Dalmatian
coast of Croatia. He discovered his interest in art early
in his childhood. At age eight, he received his first
award for painting, given by the monks of the St. Francis
monastery in Zadar. That event showed him where he wanted
to focus his life and confirmed his desire to become an
artist.
After
completing studies at the Mathematic and Information
Technology Education Centre, and grammar school Frane
Petrić in Zadar, Radman began studying architecture
at the University of Zagreb in 1993. Under the influence
of professor Josip Vaniąta, a painter, he decided
to fulfil his childhood wish. From 1995 to 1999, Radman
studied the basic skills of painting at the School
of Painting Agora in Zagreb. In 2000, he completed
painter Dino
Trtovac's master class in painting.
Today, Ivan Radman lives in both Zagreb and Zadar.
He paints,
studies architecture at University of Zagreb and works
as a computer and graphic designer. His paintings
and drawings have been located in private collections
in Europe, Australia and United States of America. |
